Mise en scene: Security camera monitors show that the man in uniform has authority over the entire place. Mop denotes that he has a poorly paid job and isn't of much dominance over everything.
Sound: When the man tries to shoot the basket, there is comical music which is parallel to the situation because watching him is comical.
Editing: The slow motion builds up suspension and makes it funnier when he actually misses the basket. Short takes when he was working everything out shows his frustration and his short temper of him missing the basket.
Camera angles: Long shot at the beginning sets the scene, also represents the long shot the man is taking at the basket. Deep shot introduces the 2 characters and makes it so the man in uniform is in focus, which makes him look more authorative over the cleaner in the background.
